BELGRADE CITY BREAK ( 3 nights/4 days - Thursday/Sunday )

 

Belgrade is the city to enjoy and the city of much diversity. It proudly lies on the confluence of its most famous rivers - The Danube River and The Sava River. The capital of Serbia is also favorite place for young people, always ready to discover something new and unique. This is a place where you can find traces of history, very rich cultural life and the sign of the future time. Get to know Belgrade in the best possible way because Belgrade waits for you to show you its spirit.


DAY 1: BELGRADE AIRPORT – BELGRADE

Arrival at Belgrade Airport. Transfer to hotel for check in. Today, we will have a chance to meet Belgrade in all its beauty. On our way to the City Center, we will stop to visit one of the biggest Orthodox Church - Saint Sava Temple. It represents the most monumental building in the city. Afterwards, our walk continues to the most important Belgrade symbols - mighty Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan Park, Victor Monument and beautiful confluence of the two rivers that spreads from the top of the Belgrade Fortress. We will walk through the main street in Belgrade –Knez Mihajlova Street, the place for shopping and enjoy Belgrade everyday life on The Republic Square. Overnight at hotel in Belgrade.


DAY 2: BELGRADE – AVALA TOWER – OPLENAC - BELGRADE

Avala Tower is situated on Avala Mountain, near Belgrade. It is currently the tallest structure in Serbia and in the Balkan region. It represents real pride of Belgraders. It was destroyed in NATO bombardment of Serbia on the 29th of April 1999. On the 21st of December 2006, the reconstruction of Avala Tower commenced and the tower was officially opened at a ceremony attended by the highest state officials on 21 April 2010. Now, it is Belgrade’s significant symbol. From the Avala Tower we will be amazed by the view that spreads all around central Serbia. Afterwards we will continue to Oplenac– the centar of the Serbian Royal Family. This complex is consisted of the endowment of King Petar I which contains the church of St. Đorđe, King Petar’s house, new opened Gallery (The house of vinogradar) and Karađorđe’s fortified town. All this represents the unique monument of the cultural-historical heritage of the Serbian people. Overnight at hotel in Belgrade.


DAY 3: MEET BELGRADE RIVERS

Belgrade is a favorite place for those who want to experience something different. Belgrade lies on the confluence of its most famous rivers - The Danube River and The Sava River, and at the same time, it represents proudly its history and culture. After breakfast, we will start enjoying Belgrade from rivers - we will have popular boat ride and enjoy lunch on a boat while cruising. We will have a chance to get to know the capital of Serbia from another perspective - its divine rivers. This is one of a kind chance to meet Belgrade confluence and to experience pleasant enjoyment on the water. In the afternoon we well have free time for shopping in one of the famous shopping centers in Belgrade. In the evening we will have folklore dinner in one of the restaurants in bohemian part of Belgrade called Skadarlija. Overnight in Belgrade.


DAY 4: BELGRADE FERAWELL SHOPPING

Breakfast at hotel. Check - out from hotel. Free time for shopping till transfer to the airport. ***Belgrade is the capital that offers many shopping opportunities. All around Belgrade you can see Western-style shopping malls and supermarkets that are one of the main stops for everyone who visit Belgrade. Main shopping places are Knez MIhajlova St., Ušće Shopping Center and Delta City shopping Center.
